Jan brings twenty years of senior management leadership in the US as well as abroad, building effective organizations and global partnerships. His CEO/GM/EVP experience in the technology field covers F1000, midsize and startup companies. Expertises in coaching leaders, forming executive teams, develop strategic plans and execution.

Jan’s core experience is corporate transformation, leading to rapid growth and profits. Specific additional expertise includes company assessment, organizational and business development, partnerships and sales. Jan is a member the board of directors for Adaptis Inc, a services company in healthcare, and Her Interactive Inc, a market leading interactive games company. Jan started the latter company in 1997.

Jan’s executive corporate background includes Microsoft (11 years), Eli Lilly (3 years in the US and France), and SCA (3 years in Sweden). Furthermore, Jan has founded three companies and has been executive in several emerging companies in software, gaming, environmental projects and telecommunications. As Executive Vice President and Officer for Info Space (INSP) Mobile division, Jan turned a significant loss into a profitable operation in less that a year. At Microsoft Jan’s responsibilities included 20% of Microsoft’s net income while negotiating contracts building foundation of license revenues in excess of $3B dollars. Furthermore, he started two support businesses currently generating more than $100M each. Jan has personally lead more than a dozen organizational transformations.

Jan is currently working with emerging companies in technology and environmental markets. He is active at Seattle University and Santa Clara University as advisory board member, mentor and lecturer. Jan has an MBA from the Business School at University of Gothenburg, Sweden and has lived and worked in three countries and speaks several languages.
